Picture This

We decided to re brand for a number of reasons, not the least of which was that MJOFOTO seemed to confuse people and became known to different clients in any number of variations of the name. So, O’Connor Photography it is. Clear and simple.

During the rebranding process we thought a lot about our business and what it should look like in terms of the brand and the customer experience. We thought about our values and the important things to our clients, and came up with a mix of traditional values with modern, progressive photography and techniques. The logo, orange for fun and energy depicts an old fashioned camera like the one Mark is pictured with on ‘About us’ on the new website. Did you see it?

We thought about what our clients want from us and the best way to answer that was simply to ask them. And so we conducted market research of existing clients and friends, and non clients and strangers. It’s thanks to that research that we are now launching ‘Picture This’.

Picture This is a bespoke, onsite photography training course that will allow you and your employees to take high quality food/drink images for immediate use on social media channels.

We understand that sometimes our clients need to be able to take images themselves for immediate use. It’s not always practical or convenient to have a photographer coming in (as lovely as we are.) Once you know how to light, prop, format and compose your food images, along with some knowledge of the basic settings on your camera or smartphone,  your good to go. We have also teamed up with a marketer who can show you to use them to market yourselves in an effective way.
